X5/X6S is used for an extention of the HDMI CAT 5E/6 cable to extend HD signal up to 60 meters and it can achieve 1080p. So it breaks the HDMI cable trasmission length limitations and is more convenient and flexible.

HDMI cable in the finished product can not be changed in length, because the HDMI connector can only be changed through the professional staff in the factory, so users can not shorten or extend by themselves. So users and installers can easily deal with CAT5e/6 cable; moreover trasmission distance can reach 60 meters, 1080p using CAT6.
